Biography
Dr. Manreet Kanwar is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Temple University School of Medicine, PA and faculty for Heart Failure, Pulmonary Hypertension and Transplant Cardiology at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine with certification in the subspecialties of cardiovascular diseases and advanced heart failure and transplantation. She is the medical director of the Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension program at AGH. Manreet is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, where she co-chairs the pulmonary hypertension work group and on the Board of Directors for the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation. Her primary research interests are risk stratification and clinical outcomes analysis in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and pulmonary hypertension. In addition, she is also been involved with various NIH sponsored projects and multi-center clinical trials as site principal investigator.
